Christmas Shopping in 2020


Shopping in December is never easy,

but with the covid situation it’s far more complicated.

There’s a need to keep a distance,

while trying to breathe

through fabric and filter.

Pause and pick up,

don’t linger to think,

just follow the lines up and down the aisles,

reaching out without coming to a...


It was a relief to get it done,

and I was so looking forward

to getting back home.

Until I arrived.

And then I wanted nothing more than to get away.
