I WASN’T A SCAREDY CAT

There are those who won’t receive a COVID-19 vaccination because: they have allergies or are otherwise medically compromised (understandable), are scared of being infected or of suffering debilitating side effects (do your research from legitimate scientific authorities), or are squeamish of needles (bear down for a couple seconds - needles aren’t daggers), or are influenced by tainted politics (what can I say ... when a desperate alley cat reaches into a restaurant barrel of slop and falls in, he’s hopelessly there until somehow he slips and slides finally to crawl out and cleanse himself). If possible, taking the shot when it is available your specific group is a SHOT IN THE ARM for you, your family, your friends, your community, and the world at large, a beginning for each of us responsible to receive the double-shots enabling us collectively to intervene in the spread of this virus dependent on opportunity to transmit from victim to victim. Because of widespread oftentimes irresponsible conduct, the vaccines administered to as many people as possible is our direct means to control and conquer the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, a virus run-wild that seems destined to lock into human societies and simply not vanish on its own, not until we unify and kick it in the butt.
