I wrote this in an existential crisis, worrying about the future, broke down into tears several times when I wrote it, when I worked on it and when I sang it.

Mom, Please don't go away.
Mom, Please don't disappear,

I need you here
Please stay alive
Mom please survive.

You mean the world to me
unrivaled kindness and warmth
The brightest light I see
A gentle soul that does not harm

Please stay alive
I need you here
Stay by my side
Please don't disappear
Let the sparks glow
Let the sparks fly
don't let go
Of the fire in your eyes.
You're the only thing that stops
The darkness from engulfing all the light.

I love you so
Far above it all
Every ounce of me is dying
Waiting for that call.
