just a little poem about part of the world's darknesses.

“please don’t hide”,

“your imperfections are something we can fix and find”.

so is that what i am? are you really that blind?

who i love will no longer be declined.

you say theres something wrong with my mind,

and this is why i always felt so confined,

disregarded and designed,

theres not someone i will love that is assigned.

i am just one of mankind,

who i love isnt how im defined.

i didnt choose to whom towards i am inclined,

leave me like this completely unrefined.

“i support the gays but i don’t think they should live”,

“because im so religious i GUESS i’ll forgive”,

no one asked and your hate? no need to give,

these traumatic memories you are making me relive.

in this world i have to survive,

when basic human rights they deprive,

with this homophobia i have to thrive,

time to go home or go out and be a “hetero”, take n.0 975.
