Poem about journey through life

Their comes a point in life where we all look into ourselves

Through a mirror two versions of oneself stare at each other

That figure in the mirror is blurred

And it is at that moment where our journey begins

Through chats with friends

The routines you create

The cheerful memories you make

The mysterious figure follows

Through the pain you face

The lessons you learn

The tears you cry

The mysterious figure follows

Through the work you put in

The sweat that splashes

The countless hours fighting

The mysterious figure follows

One day you wake up and notice the figure has disappeared

You frantically look for it, a feeling of longing coming over you

You catch a glimpse of it in the mirror, but now you can see it clear as day

And when you finally gaze at it, you can’t help but smile
