Today's politics is far more than Republican versus Democrat, left versus right, Conservative against Liberal. Today's politics are what defines America's history. As our rights and freedoms are stripped away, as our morals are destroyed and as our patriotisms is abolished, is there any grounds for recovery? Is there any grounds in which we can fight back to restore what has been stolen and what is being stolen from the American citizens?

The Response to the Tyranny

Gail D Prentice

I have been a Christian since 1969.  I have been preaching the Word of God since 1973.  That is longer than most Christian congregations have been alive.

I am married with three children, 10 grandchildren, and hopefully soon, great grandchildren.

To these, I am fiercely loyal to and will fight to the death to protect them.

I have been alive through every war beginning with Vietnam.  I served the US Army for eight and a half years.  I enlisted during towards the end of the Vietnam War.

My loyalties lie in three major entities.  First, in my God.  Second, is my family.  Third, is my country, the United States of America.

Joseph Stalin made a statement that could not have been more true or even prophetic.“America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: Its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.”

America’s life and strength resides in three facets.  Patriotism, morality, and its relationship with God.

These three have been eroded and tarnished, America has been compromised and in fail mode.  When any of these three are compromised in our personal life, our life and strength as an individual has been literally destroyed.

Patriotism began to be attacked by a horrible turn of events.  In my lifetime, it began with the hippie movement, free love, down with the establishment, hate the government, hate the military, hate everything that disagrees with the love of self, self-indulgence, and demand for government subsidies that maintain their chosen lifestyle.

Patriotism has taken a back seat to radical extremists who take a knee for the National Anthem, who speak out against the nation of the United States.

Patriotism has been literally kicked off the bus in political circles because it doesn’t get votes.  Pandering to spoiled little brats gets politicians re-elected, not American pride and patriotism.

I am about to get the left raging mad now.  President Trump’s campaign slogan was “Make America Great Again.”

He felt, like I do, that America had gone too far away from the patriotism, morals and spiritual integrity that made America the great nation that it was and needed to be restored.

Do not go off on a tangent here.  I am not proclaiming Trump as a god.  I was just pointing out a fact.  America has taken a serious turn for the worse since President Reagan left office.  There has been NO true patriot American president since President Reagan until President Trump.

America is at the brink of destruction just like the spiritual life of American Christians are at the brink of destruction.  We cannot allow this to continue.  We cannot allow the enemy the authority to continue to degrade and destroy who and what America is (or used to be) any more than we can allow the enemy authorization to destroy who we are as Christians.

A war has been declared and to date, virtually nobody has stepped in or stepped up to do anything about it.  The loyal Americans have put their proverbial head in the sand and refused to take control or fight back.  There has been a whole lot of bellyaching and beating the chest, but nobody is doing anything serious.

Our current president, President Trump, has been viciously attacked over the last 4 years.  It has not subsided, and this onslaught has turned the hearts of many of his former supporters in the House and Senate against him.  This turn should have been expected because it was interfering with their political career.  In order to guarantee re-election, they needed to distance themselves from right (not the right also known as Republican or Conservative) but turn from right to wrong, to turn from good to evil.

It has affected the patriotism of American politicians and has begun to infect American citizens at an alarming rate.  Stalin’s statement could not have been more accurate.

This swing to wrong or evil has affected our morals in such a horrendous way.  Abortion, homosexuality, pro-gender idiocy, anti-American, pro-euthanasia, anti-God and other aspects of morality have been politically and spiritually compromised and are becoming more and more accepting of blatant moral decadence.

When the morals that made America the nation that it was in its beginning are no longer the morals of the American people, Stalin was correct on how to destroy America.

The third and most important aspect of Stalin’s statement is now in full force against the citizens of America and growing stronger.

The spiritual life of Americans is the weakest in the history of America.  Our school systems cannot and will not teach the truth about the beginning of the world, they refuse to bring up Christianity unless it is in reference to intolerance and hatred.

Schools now teach Islam, Buddhism, Hindu, and about every other religion is acceptable, except Christianity.

They teach that abortion is an approved and acceptable response to adultery and lust.

They teach gender identity as anything but what God established.

They teach that prayer to anything other than their approved gods is a violation of the Constitution of the United States.

They teach rebellion to parents and allegiance to the government.

They teach that blatant sin is an acceptable lifestyle, and the government has legislated that same sin as a government sanctioned lifestyle.

Churches and denominations have taken on the same stance in many aspects.  In order to satisfy the government and their own lust for acceptance, they have allowed and even promoted blatant sin in order to escape government scrutiny and persecution and to gain membership, and clout in the world’s view of religion.  Would you think Stalin called that right also?  You bet he did.

With the American family falling apart, with American morals in the toilet, with the onslaught of religious persecution against Christianity, and with our patriotism being destroyed at the core and replaced with a doctrine of tolerance, liberalism, socialism, and even communism, America is at the crux, ripe, and ready for overthrow from the inside.

Because the true Church has not stood up to these onslaughts, we can only blame what should have been the standard of integrity in America.

The 501(c)(3) has been one of the worst governmental attacks against the church in history.  If you closely examine the 501(c)(3), you will see that if a church/denomination speaks contrary to the government, speaks positive in support of a political candidate or political party, or acts or speaks in any way opposing the government, you are subject to losing your tax-exempt status (loss of the 501(c)(3)), fines, seizures, and possible imprisonment.

If the true Christian and the true Church stands up, they must be ready to face an all-out assault by the government.  If they are not ready to go to war to protect their religious freedom, they are part of the problem and not part of the solution.

This is but a mere sample of what is really going down in America, but there is a solution.  There is a means of turning things around to make America what it was in the beginning stages of its birth.

As Americans, we need to begin telling politicians of America that we will no longer tolerate their attacks against our freedom or there will be consequences.

As American Christians, we need to start shouting the Truth of the Gospel from the rooftops and not bow to the oppressive government requirements.

Some will say that they have been doing this for a long time.  Some are thinking that they need to start.  That is good, but is it too little too late?  It sure hasn’t been too much for too long.

When words no longer do the trick, then actions must take over.  Elections have been ineffective, and corruption is running rampant.  More and more wrong for America politicians are going to Washington and legislating away our freedoms and rights.  They are stealing our most prized possessions.  These prized possessions are our families and our freedom.

Today, the Republicans proclaim that we will change things at the next election.  “We’ll get them next time.”  BUT, what if the next election in two years or four years is too late?

In that amount of time, the Constitution could be either nonexistent or so radically changed that it will legislate against our morals, our patriotism, and our spiritual life.  Can we afford to wait and see what happens or do we need to take a stand and do something about it now?

Let’s take a look at a similar situation in the Bible.

We could look at every time that Israel was taken captive and examine why, and we will always wind up in the exact same scenario.  Israel got wealthy, complacent, lazy, and they restricted or rejected God.  They did not think they could be overthrown because they were so superior over all other nations, their army was depleted and then they fell into the hands of the enemy.  They went into captivity and when they restored their true identity in their spiritual life, they were freed.

Now, with that in mind, let’s take a look at one specific situation that needs serious attention.

1 Sam 30:1-6, “And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; 2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.  3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.  4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.  5 And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”

On the side of humor, I do not know why David would possibly want two wives, but he had them, nonetheless.

Long story shortened, what had taken place here was that David and his army had been gone.  They returned home and found that their homes had been violated, pillaged, burned and their families had been taken away.

David and his men were distressed to the point of tears until there were no more tears to shed.  They were distressed, mad, furious about the loss of everything they considered prized among them being stolen from them.  What was stolen?  I will call them possessions for the moment to get the point across.

Their prized possessions that were stolen were their families, their personal property, and their freedom to live their life in peace and harmony as a community.  They felt helpless to do anything about it.

David’s men were so upset that stoning him was foremost in their minds.  Upset is a very mild term here.  They were TICKED and had blood in their eyes.  They were fired up and going to do something about their plight, even if it was wrong.

But let’s continue.

1 Sam 30:7-10,”And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.  8 And David inquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.  9 So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.

10 But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.”

David sought God and then, he heard from Him.  “Shall I pursue after this enemy that stole everything from us?”

God answered and said, “Pursue and recover ALL that was taken.”

Because David and his army had been on the road for so long, some of the men just didn’t have the strength to continue.  They were exhausted, heartbroken, and needed to recover before they could go further.  They stayed behind to rest and no doubt guard the home front.

David took four hundred men and went after the enemy.

It is important to note that David was straightforward with God in his prayer.  If you read anything about how David prayed, he prayed very directly and sometimes even sounding like complaining.  However, he was painfully honest in his relationship with God.  Why can’t people be that straightforward with God today?

But it doesn’t stop there.  Let’s continue.

1 Sam 30:16-20, “And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.  17 And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.  18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.  20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David's spoil.”

When David went into the attack against the enemy, we can easily see that he was victorious.  David did not recover some of what was stolen.  He did not recover most of what was stolen.  He recovered ALL that had been stolen.  He conquered the enemy and took the spoil or bounty/booty of the victory.

The battle over, the spoil of battle brought back with David and his army, David did what the army said not to do.  Because the ones who stayed behind did not go to battle, they felt that the ones who did not go should not get any of the bounty.  But David saw things differently.

1 Sam 30:24-26, “For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.  25 And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel unto this day. 26 And when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the Lord;”

David shared the bounty, not only with the 200 that stayed behind, but he also shared it with the elders (spiritual leaders) of Israel.

The point is, only some are going to be able to go to be able to battle with the enemy.  Some because of age, infirmity, ability, or other reason may not be able to get into the fray and see victory.  Rest assured, the ones that do not go to battle will be supporting and praying on the home front and even defending homes while others are actually fighting in the war.

In the United States, as of right now freedom, morals, spiritual life, patriotism, and family are what is at stake here.  The home defense is just as worthy to receive the freedom and family as much as those who offered their life in battle for it.

Case and point.  My mother at age 94 is not capable to go to battle, but she is just as deserving of the freedom as anybody else.  My older brother is 72 and not able to get into the direct battle.  He is just as worthy to receive the benefits of freedom and restored family as anybody.

In World War One and Two, every American received the joy of victory whether they fought in a theater of battle or not.  This war for freedom and restoration of family is for all of America, not just the warriors/soldiers.

The conflict that we are about to enter, is not going to be a typical skirmish.  It will not be a civil war.  It will be a battle of freedom against tyranny.  It will be a battle of freedom against socialism.  It will be a battle of right versus wrong, good set against evil.  It will be a battle fought in high places against high-ranking evil American tyrants who have unlawfully seized authority over the American citizens by attacking the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.

In short, this is a call to action.  This is a call to rally.  Contact the true patriots in your state.  If you do not know how to do his, start by visiting with a veteran.  They will point you in the right direction.

I want to end this with the oath of enlistment that every veteran and every current serving military personnel took on their day of enlistment.  This is nearly identical to the oath every politician including the President of the United States takes upon entering service to America.  Politicians do not take this very seriously, but rest assured, nearly EVERY member of the military has and/or will put their life on the line because of this oath.  There is no expiration date to this oath as far as most veterans understand this, however, some see that it expired the day they were discharged.

I want to make this very personal, so I will write this as I took the oath in 1971.

I, Gail Duane Prentice, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to the regulations and the uniform code of military justice.  So help me God.

Please note: When the president or officer’s orders are in violation of the Constitution, they become domestic enemies of the United States Constitution and the United States and should not be followed.

Being a Christian I have to wonder why you are quoting the old testament. Jewish history has nothing to do with anything going on today, and if you are going talk about morals then David is not the one to quote., he slept with another man's wife and then sent that man to his death. --- The Founding Father made provisions so there would be a separation of Church and state, and for good reasons, so I'm wondering why you want to link them to show some state of patriotism. I've been alive since WW-II and I have seven flags of Honor on my book case, and more will follow. So you really shouldn't take it upon yourself to say who is a patriot and who isn't.
That isn't the Democratic way, nor your right.
I also found it interesting that you had to go to a Russian for a quote about America. Trump's favorite.
As far as what Trump means when he says, "Make America Great Again", you and I see different images in our heads, it's too bad we can't see what he is seeing. --- I've been a Democrat and I switched to help elect Reagan. Trump is no Reagan. Now, in my view, after all these years, both parties have proved themselves serving the rich, the Industrialized Military Complex, and their special interests, those people that think just like Trump.
Pry on it Brother.

Thanks for your comments. I am not a "Trumpster", but I have to admire how he fought and kept so many campaign promises, even through four years of the onslaught of vitriol.
Yes, David was, let's say, a character. In spite of it all, the Word of God still says that he was a man after God's own heart. Yes, he bungled a lot in his life, but he was quick to repent.
You are right that Trump is no Reagan. How you see that Russia is Trump's favorite, I don't grasp that. I hadn't even considered that. But it seems that you missed the point of the Stalin quote.
If America is going to be destroyed, The strongholds must be weakened. Our three strongest attributes are what is being slaughtered today by politicians on both sides and the media.
Again, thanks for you comments. I really appreciate them.
