Poem about the importance of friendship.

True Friendship is like a sturdy oak tree

Like the branches, we each go our separate directions

Each living our own life and doing our own things

But we are also rooted with one another

The experiences and laughs keep us together

Though, it’s the time we willingly spend with one another that keeps the bond

Even if a branch wilts and falls

The memories of it still lives forever within every piece of wood in the tree

The tree stands firm through all hurricanes

Though it’s not the cause of a single branch

Every part of the tree assist one another and gives each other hope

Together they all share the scars of their obstacles

Friendship is the undercurrent of every relationship

So when you find your tree, love it and take care of it

Reminisce with every part of it, run your hands across the scratchy bark

Talk to it and water it everyday, make it known that it’s important to you

That tree will end up being your savior

With it, you’ll be able to take on every challenge and never waver
