A prompted poem.

Forgive Me?

Will you want to see me?

Or did I go to far?

Should I walk along your path

or drive off in the car?

If you do forgive me

fill your house with light,

a glow that is so welcoming

it fills me with delight.

But if I’m not forgiven

don’t bother saying why,

just put one candle in the window

to say goodbye.

...to say a last goodbye. ...or seek another star? Sad, poignant and with a tender, and softly bitter touch, Lady H.
