Poem about passion.

I want each word to roar out like a lion

Emotions on my sleeve because I’m tired of leaving them in

I want to burn so bright the sun gets envious

Each poem straight from the soul, completely spontaneous

Each living person has their own unique story

With trembling hands I want to bring them to glory

Pounding keys like I’m playing a piano

Poetry erupting from them like a volcano

These lines are just a glance for others, but everything to me

Fingers dancing in the wind like they been set free

I want to feel it more, even more

I want to reach the people reading like a punch to their core

The room is turning red, a dazzling crimson

Like a phoenix, I felt like I’ve finally risen

I feel so relieved, like I’m finally at peace

Writing is my form of release

Panting, but I find myself refusing to stop

Sweat splashing down drop by drop

One more line, I want to write one more line

And though it’s the end of this poem, the future is mine
