I’ve got a best friend named Brian

He’s definitely the last of a breed

My brother from a different mother 

Who drops what he’s doing 

If I’m ever in need

I don’t know what I did

To ever deserve such loyalty

I would trust my life in his hands

You’ll find no one more noble In royalty 

Truly a renaissance man

True, he uses profanity like punctuation

And oft as not breakfast consists

Of a cup of coffee and a toke or three

But he can be counted on

In any situation 

He’s a man of stone cold integrity

If I’m fucking up the program

He’s not shy about saying it

Although he’ll try to be tactful and kind

Worth his weight in gold if ever you were weighing it

Brian’s rescued me from many a bind

There is not enough praise in this universe 

To adequately convey the love

That I feel for my friend 

Although these days there exists an ocean between us

I know that we’re brothers to the end
