Yet another year has passed, what a waste...

December 31st 2020

Simple prayer is all I offer-

To the ones I love who tend to scoffer,

As the cold wind blows on those who shiver,

And a dark tingle rolls down an old spine with a Quiver.

Empathy is something that’s been chosen not to deliver,

I’ll pray for all as I leave this earth, for prayer is the only solace

You’ll have, to replace all the resentment of the past, move forward,

And find happiness at every turn, share kindness, understanding and empathy,

Some of which you’ll need to learn. My prayers are daily, valued or not, consider

Forgiveness, it’s just a thought...
