Humour. Weird. Flash Fiction. What's In The Cage?

The Cage

Everywhere I walk I push a metal cage on

wheels. It has a padlock on it to keep its

contents secure.

Up hills, down hills, I push, around and around

the bay, along the beach I push. People ask eachother,

" Why's he pushing a cage? " And others yell out to me,

" Why are you pushing that cage? "

exhausting activity but I keep well away fro the busy

streets, and places, I don't want the cage to be hit

by a car, or attacked by dogs or teenagers. I want

my cage to be safe.

Finally as night falls, I push my cage into my home,

and let out the tiny mannequin nearly asleep within...

Me...
