I
I stir from my slumber
As I awaken from my dreams
I remember that distant place
Places coloured by the mind’s eye
A view so varied in its entirety and heavenly sense
II
A place full of magnificence and splendour
Where I am everything and everyone
A connection of life
One born of that eternal spring
That place we search for in this dream called life
One so starkly black yet so blindingly bright
III
An unending journey of mind and body
A spiritual opening of all and none
A connection lost out of pride and selfishness
Can only be attained true truth of spirit
Knowledge gained through hardship and peace
IV
If you lie the path is closed,
Not a place for those who see through the eyes of hate and prejudice
A truth only the inner self knows
Attainable by all who seek it
Those willing few who live in the light of peace
A peaceful place where the heart of man resides
That home of man and beast
That palace of pleasure where all hope and endless joy call heaven
