The following is an attempt to explore the complexities I have observed in education over the last decade. It is not meant to be a definitive source, but rather a thought experiment, exploring many dynamics of education with various hypotheses about how it could work.

I don’t have any formal authority in the matter and the writing is not based on studies or historical accounts of education. The only value of the book is in the observations and hypotheses it presents. My hope is that you may find some new perspectives you have not previously considered or some intriguing hypotheses. I’m sure you won’t agree with all of the observations or the hypotheses and I welcome feedback on all of it.

Either way I hope it’s not a waste of your time.
