A new low

What I heard yesterday left no doubt, he's not running a con, Trump has actually convinced himself that he, and not Joe Biden, won the presidential election. And what's even more alarming than a president with such a warped, frightening view of reality, is that almost the entire Republican Party is, for whatever reason, going along with what he's claiming. The man that so obviously needs mental help is being allowed to make a fool out of himself on national T. V. and cause incalculable damage to our democracy.

It's something I thought, with our many checks and balances, I'd never see happen here; yet one by one, Trump's destroyed our checks on his power, with the full knowledge of the Republican Party. They are responsible for the mess we find ourselves in. By not doing their job and protecting us from a mentally ill president, who knows the depths we will be sinking to?

Well said, Mike. Anyone that does not find that news coverage alarming must be seriously deluded.

88 fingers

Trumps actions will split the Republican Party. Those who side with Trump, and those who who want to stir away from Trumpism. Unfortunately, it seems the wind is in the sails of Trumpism.

I agree with everything you've said, 88--now we need to figure out a way of bringing the voters back together, and I don't see that happening; thank you

D. Thurmond aka JEF

There are certain people among the rich and powerful that would rather see the US Government being a puppet to their way of thinking. Some of them tried to take the government over, Google "Business Plot", in 1933, but failed due to the manner in which they tried. Now they are back in a last ditch effort. They know that in about ten years the fabric of US society will change forever, whites will become a minority and the arm will tilt to a more Socialist accepting attitude. Younger voters will not see the world as their Grandfathers did. Everyone who wants our government to stay a Democratic government should be messaging their Congress-people and demanding that Trump's antics be stopped; they're are laws that can do that, but the fear of the voters must convince them to proceed before someone gets killed..
