However We Grow
Will I never break free,
Will it always be so,
It’s torment I see,
However I grow.
I see their innocence,
But know their pain,
Is it all pretence,
My thoughts in vain.
Will they never break free,
Will it always be so,
It’s torment they see,
However they grow.
I see the games,
The make believe,
But it’s only us,
We try to deceive.

I love how deep this is and how perspective plays a part in what we see in others or ourselves. The wording is very pleasant to read. Kudos!
