Just a little poem/song about home and insanity.

I would think that I was mad if not insane

The pressures of confinement racks my brain.

I need to have an outing beyond the store;

And why I'm allowed to go there, I'm not sure (?).

OMG, I'm infected with the Covid 19 Blues

I think I heard of it on the evening news.

Mr. Dobs, from down the way, is looking thin;

It could be, this infection came from him.

My brother said, "This disease is in your mind!"

But how could he know if he'd never had this kind?

No, I'm sure that I'm infected with the Covid 19 Blues

'cause I'm wearing my pajamas, with my outdoor shoes.

Yes, I would think that I was mad if not insane

For Covid 19, has developed a different strain.

It's called the Covid Blues, of this I'm sure,

And getting out-and-about, is the only cure.

Not much chance of that these days, JE. At least your sense of humor is still thriving.
