It’s always about the details - turnt memories forever ingrained,
ascending from airport runways or waving to departing trains.
The eloquence of the stars and their quavering suburban glow,
which suddenly feels not so distant, observed from a tenebrous plateau.

The time you devote to your loved ones with sympathy on your mind,
the glances through journal memoirs you gracefully let unwind.
Unchangeable values and moments preserved on a monochrome
that feel like a weight off your shoulders,
conducting your soul back home.

I quite liked how this poem felt to me like it was bringing loftier ideals down to earth, as if to try and make evanescent memories last longer. The imagery is beautiful.

moody and different, I like it when you interweave your mood with reflections.
