They can hear you cry,
And Actions still remain.
There can be blood between my legs,
And they are still blinded by their ignorance.
I can drown in my trauma,
And my very own people continue not to bother.
Who wants to admit rape exists?
With all these problems within the black community,
That is the last thing on their list.
Police brutality is on their mind,
So they do not want to hear this.
How long are we going to ignore the truth?
When the ones who are guilty,
Are affecting the ones who are innocent and have proof.
Our priorities are not in order.
We ignore certain situations until women’s lives are over.
Race issues are the ones that have them blinded.
All we see is skin color.
When we should look at ourselves,
And see how we treat each other.
