It is hardly surprising really. Trump cast doubt on the democratic process during his campaign and the gullible tend to believe anything. It is truly sad to see democracy reduced to populism and mendacity. Lock him up, I say.

This happens literally every year. Democrats done the same in 2000 and 2016. The difference? They were Democrats, so the media didn't make some big show of the whole thing. It's more some formal show of disapproval than having any real effect.
