A poem about a grim future that awaits those who refuse to listen.

Look beyond the horizon,

The rain is coming near.

Look out at the nation under water,

Look at the people crying in fear.

Feel the rivers shake,

See the rooftops flying.

Now feel the earth begin to quake,

See the villages start flooding.

Will we listen to their crying?

When they had the chance to do what’s right?

We won’t be giving no considerations,

‘Cause the storm is gonna land tonight.

Will we listen to their ranting?

When they had the chance to see the people’s plight?

They’ll be begging for leniency,

‘Cause the storm is gonna land tonight.

And all those fanatics,

They’ll never see the path,

They’re gonna be blind forever,

They’re gonna scatter like ash.

So heed our advice children,

And listen to us close,

You best not side with those heathens,

‘Cause you’ll be stuck with what you chose.

And they won’t be listening to the apolitical’s cries,

They had their chance to stand and fight.

And now they’ll spend their days in darkness,

‘Cause the storm is gonna land tonight.
