Limitless
I want to escape the confines of walls, roof and floor;
step outside, beneath the darkened sky.
It’s cold outside. Already there’s the sparkle of frost,
the glisten of ice, so I’ll wrap up warm.
And then I’m going to make my way to a wide open space
and position myself flat on my back.
Eyes wide open, I look around at the glimmers and shines
of dying stars in the limitless expanse that is space.

Sun, January 10th, 2021 11:33pmHully, Happy New Year! When I need to be enthralled and excited, shocked and disturbed, or if I simply want to get lost in an author's writing, to marvel - I need look no further than you. Another masterpiece of timely perception, Hully. You live the moment, capturing that moment so well. Thank you - HJ.
