My brethren, as you can look at this world, it is full of earthly desires and full of evils. We have turned away from God because of the things that belong to the world. We have heard the gospel, read the scripture but still we are tempted by the evil spirit.

However, is it too late to turn yourself to God? Is it really too late to accept Jesus Christ in your life? The answer I can give is “it is yet our time to turn to God and accept Jesus Christ in our lives”

Human being cannot say ; they haven’t sinned, we have sinned long time and we continue to sin each time.

Scripture Reference
John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and there is no truth in us”
Yes we have sinned and we continue to sin, however, it is not too late to confess and turn yourself to God.

Scripture Reference
Matthew 3:12 “Turn away from your sins, he said, because the kingdom of heaven is near”
The only time you have is now, turn away from your sins, and accept God and Jesus because the kingdom of heaven is near.

Have you ever asked yourself where the kingdom will find you and do you know even the day he will come for the man? He should not find you in bars, clubs, doing evil things, let him find you preaching, spreading love, sharing and reading a bible or even fasting.

How can we confess then our sins?
It is not true that you will confess your sins and repeat the same evil sins. Once you confess, God will forgive and he doesn’t want you to repeat sinning because you are in a new life.

Scripture Reference
John 1:9 “But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right; he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrong doing”
Because you have turned away from the sins, you have confessed, he listens and forgives our sins and all our wrong doings just because we can receive the kingdom of heaven. We then create a stronger relationship with him.

But we all know that faith is achieved by actions and we can’t please God if we are dead in spirit. And whoever understands and comes across Jesus but doesn’t believe in His gospel is like a hunt man hunting without an aim.

Scripture Reference
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who calls me ‘lord, lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven but only those who do what my father in heaven wants them to do”
You have read that scripture several times right? If we confess our confess our sins, we have to obey his commandments, his word and we have to live in faith with him. He has given you a gift; “forgiving your sins” so we should not throw it away

Did you know that God is too patient?

He provides food, water, shelter and every basic need we need in life to be productive, health and perfect whether you are righteous or not, whether you have repented or not; because he love you to come back to him after all have failed, to remember the good things he has done unto you and in your life.

He forgave Saul and blessed him; Saul became a servant of God, as we may know; Saul was arresting God’s people and follower until one day when he was moving, he heard the voice from heaven after a splash of light through his eyes saying:

Scripture Reference
Acts 9:4-5 “He fell to the ground and heard a voice; saying to him… ‘Saul, why do you persecute me?’ “Who are you lord?” he asked “I’m Jesus whom you persecuted” the voice said”
He lost sight for three days and from that time, Saul had been chosen to serve God. Despite how sinful you might think you are, God’s love is with you as long as you repent and confess your sins.

Why should we confess our sins?

You might be living in a luxurious life, full of evils and see no reason why you should confess your sins. Nothing is precious here than the treasures in heaven that the son has prepared for all believers who accept him and do by his will; you will have more joy with him when you confess your sins.

Scripture reference
“…….there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety nine respectable who do not need to repent”
Now as Christians who have confessed our sins, of what benefit do we get from confessing and repenting?

Your have opened your heart, your life to God, you have accepted Jesus Christ and now you are near God and God is near you. You have made a union with Jesus Christ; you should not then worry about anything, he is going to listen to your cries for help, to your prayers and he will give you an unending joy.
Scripture Reference
Mark 11:24 “For this reason therefore, I tell you , when you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it and you will be given whatever you ask for”
Because you have accepted Jesus Christ; He is in you and ready to do for you miracle, you now have a seat in heaven with him because he is willing to lead you to his father.
Scripture Reference
John 5:24 “I’m telling you those who hear my words and believe in him who sent me have eternal life. They will not be judged, but have already passed from death to life”
Congratulations, because you have confessed your sins and I’m happy that you are now a born again. God’s love and mercy is now upon you and upon your goals and plans.

Seek Holy Spirit from GOD because you must worship him in spirit.

Let us pray
