A poem from the day, 2021.

Across the plain came the Winter's Wind

And it touched the hearts of vanities fair.

They spoke their truths without any proof

During those storms that went nowhere.

Do you love your country or your party more?

Or is it all about pride and those acts in denial?

Destroying what's loved is the name of the game

As long as it's done in Superbowl style.

Fools are born when sight is lost

And sight is lost when following fools.

The beginning of the end is a thief in the night

That depends on its victims to provide the tools.

Yes, from across the plain came the cold hard facts

But the ones that chose blindness had nowhere to go.

They loved the darkness and it's states of denial

Now they're forever slaves to a cold-hearted soul.
