Status: In Progress  |  Genre: Poetry  |  House: Booksie Classic

Sitting around scratching at the stars
I’ve been down so many familiar  Boulevards
I’ve been crowned the fool before
Played the part of the tool before
Lost in a decade thinking about the last one
Meanwhile so much progress goes untouched
Lying in a pool of a liars blood
Making due
Equivalent to ... never enough
Everyday begging for forgiveness
All the while quite unsure of what Is this
Waiting for someone to whisper those words of wisdom
Sounds like a classic tune
But there’s a list of wrongs so long
No one else would wonder
Why a soul was so corrupted
We all throw judgements at one another
Just another fly
Another bother
But if I can find the right passion
Oh how all may love my existence
A love letter or good riddance
Perhaps both in time
Use this moment
To unleash explosives
The crowds down on the streets
Stand up in laughter
Pleased that another has found realization
Never once do I say abort the mission
Please just consider
A new course of direction
