Oh mercy-my, sweet light of dawn upon the water
And the sent of pine seems to ramble through the air.
I see the world through the eyes of Winter's magic
And I accept the things that she does without a care.
A Bluebird sings its morning song in varying phases
Near the glistening lake, it repeats its joyous song.
And a Mountain-Jay scolds a thieving squirrel;
His Winter stash was never hidden for very long.
Oh mercy-my, sweet dawn upon the water.
Through the window, I see the snow begin to fall
And ice is dripping water where the sun hits.
You'd think my eyes would grow accustomed to it all.
But they never do and the magic never ceases
While outside or huddled in a bed.
As long as there is time to reflect
On what is good in this world, and in your head.

Oh, thank you Sir. I'm happy you like this little winter morning eye-feast. ... Have a great day.
