Just my opinion

Same Old Song And Dance
Dylan once said everything's broken
Truer words have ever been spoken
The Cock of Kentucky is crowing once more,
Old Mitch is head rooster of rotten to the core
Now minority's cock, but by hook or crook,
He demands his way, no dissent he'll brook
No negotiating, no compromise, no retreat,
His is a rancid burger we're all forced to eat
A nasty Touche' Turtle disguised as a smile,
He grins as he threatens for that's his style
He grins as the knife plunges into your back,
Seemingly harmless as he plans his attack
We can't be fooled by his snake-charmer's spiel,
We must stomp on his head with our majority heel
Or it'll be another four years like Obama's eight,
And our once-gleaming gold will become silver plate
Not Even A Day
Back on the attack goes Lindsey,
A good-for-nothing delusioner
As phony as a strangled chicken--
Err--or something not real,
The cock crowns from the senate
"I demand a Hunter investigation,"
Just as Hillary's Benghazi before
A far-right parrot foaming at the mouth
Spinning something out of nothing
Six, seven, eight times; same conclusion
There's nothing there, but that's not enough,
Surely, the ninth time will be the charm
And to the claim waste of taxpayer funds
"Why do I give a shit?"

It's hard to ignore when you care about other people and our country. Don't change Mike.
