Metamorphosis

Philosophising in anguished atonement,

The surreptitious snake coils onto conscience,

Arrested development in capsized chivalry,

Knight in shining armor to the damsel,

Only the armor bears hollow and the damsel

Reaffirmed devoid of necessity, kettles and teapots clatter not;

Eyes covered in soot sobre in sunlight,

Euphoria dancing in masquerading melancholy,

Tip-toeing in angsty charlatanism.
