Rattle those discontent chains

Came on like a hurricane from town and swamp,

The angry now angrier with the turning away,

Away from their vision of how things should be

Suddenly they're minority instead of riding high,

No longer gloating, their ire is off the charts

Bully boys rejected rattle their chains and scream,

Their calls to just accept it quickly forgotten

In their outrage; the meteoric rise becomes

A meteoric fall; the very definition of sore losers

Now is the winter of their discontent
