Poem about living with vivid memories of the past

The memories send me to another existence

A place where we were always together without any resistance

Your in my arms and just the warmth of you brings me joy

The beginning of young love from a girl and boy

The first person talked to every morning and the last one at night

Your smile and laughter a blinding light

Kisses that made the rest of the world go black

Your hair like glass as I run my hand through it while your on your back

Snapping back to reality, I realize that I’m actually alone

I wonder, how much have you grown

Do you remember us, how free we used to be

Or have your memories been erased of everything about me
