Poem about our humanity

We are the human race

Having a fragile body and an even softer heart

We still were able to take our place

At the top we stand, from the others apart

Even though our drawbacks are clear

With them we were able to push forward

This earth was mysterious to us, full of ravishing fear

Refusing to drown we fought, our sight always upward

Instead of succumbing to the world, we created a new one

We were able to embrace our weaknesses with beautiful art

Not just survive, we took each other in arms and had fun

We are the human race, and this is just the start

Put trust in your humanity
