Going Nowhere
I walk along the city streets,
feeling like I’m going against the flow
of the crowds.
A never-ending line of bodies,
staring out through empty, vacant eyes,
all on their way to... somewhere.
Me, I’m going nowhere,
but as I wander, my mind escapes reality and dances.

I love the twist, Hul, and it sounds like you were in a better place than the crowds. Good poem.
