Addiction 33
He stands there, his mighty bulk
haggard, a victim of his need
to choose among the adored
sensuous custards, luscious berries,
fudge filled cakes, pies, all lure him
entrap his passionate gaze
their opulent promise to delight his tongue
cruise like love through his veins
sun light his mind, rivets him
brows furrowed, eyes focused
rapt attention turns to frenzy
as he selects the succor for his soul
tears roll down chocolate mouth, jellied chin as
his body shudders
with relief
