I am rock, you water
Smoothed by the beat of your heart.
I am the moon, you the sun
Dulled by the light of your smile.
Wild horses run
Unbridled.
Depressed footprints in the sand
Washed away.
Waves unyielding.
I grasp for you
Water cannot be held.
I call for you
Your wind swallows my voice.
Unearth me from the muddy shallow
A treasure begging to be found.
Come find me
On your shore.
But you never seek.
I alone play the game of children.
