Yeah, finally a “romance” poem and not just a posting error

Once upon a time

I took your hand

Kissed the nape

Of your neck

And looked into

Your beautiful eyes

I asked you

To share my life

To be my wife

But what

I didn’t realize

Was that you had

Your own dreams

Of how Love should behave

You colored the world

With your own hopes and fears

Saying that I’d never

Try to change you

I promised

That I would wait forever

Well it’s starting to look like

Forever’s already here
