The new dark age

Howled at the moon, and congress answered back
Supernatural pulled up a seat at their table

Broke bread with wizards, warlocks and the unseen
Old testament ghosts guide their hand and fables

The enlightenment went dark a few years ago
And cast dark shadows over thought and reason

Dark hearts grow by leaps and elections every single year
What used to be truth is now consumed by this mad season

Werewolves staring back from their mirrors, but they don't see,
Turned from logic to the stuff of our nightmares overnight,

In political terms; monolith victims screaming no quarter
Dangerous is the fool who thinks he has special sight
