The depths of depression and will it never cease?

In my sorrow I have left my love,

She passes me in the mist of time,

I am not what I was but have become,

The lost soul that can not be known,

I am the one that no one remembers,

I am the dream that you will seek to forget.

In my mourning I am left devoid,

To be damned to the reaches of hell,

I am the pain that never ceases,

I know not peace yet only loss,

I am the one that poets mourn,

I am the one that makes dreamers weep,

I am the one who will be forgotten.

In the world I walked longing to see,

As if with my eyes open the pain would cease,

Do they not know how I have longed to see,

Do they not  know the pain in me refuses cease,

Do they see my heart yet weep,

I am alive yet dead,

And dead I shall ever be,

Oh how I weep for I know nothing and nothing knows me.

If only my heart would yet cease to be,

If only my tears would not bleed,

Yet I know this can not be,

For I am among the damned,

The lost and the ever weak,

The ones who weep and gnash their teeth,

If only I had yet seen when my breath could be seen,

But alas my time is complete and I will ever be,

The one who is left to never be.
