"How did a black boy get a name like Jake?" That made me laugh harder than it should have haha. It's been so long since I've read a story with high school characters (it makes me feel old). I love the POV switching, it's what I did with my first novel on here (the memories). So far I like Carmen but ohhh honey she better stay away from those grown men (built like a God or not). This seems like a really fun read and you should let me know when you update!
