The Storm

The hard rain hits metallic roof

Lightening flashes and thunder roars

I wait inside with frightened cats

How will we three endure the storm?

Their ears are twitching, they look to me

And wonder why the sky’s so loud

The bewitching flash of light

The roar of cannon the loudest sound.

By morning nature will relent

Peace will rule once more

We will have no more to fear

At the ceasing of the storm.

Sounds like you had a wallygagger of a storm--don't ask me what that means, Craig

Thanks Mike. It is so funny watching cats during a thunder storm. They look at you and wonder what it is. 60 mm of rain last night, I think is a bit over 2 inches, in the land of drought.
