Willow’s wife Moon checked her calendar

And saw it was time.

 

Wake, my daughter,

She called to the sleeping sea.

Your lover awaits.

 

Upon the shore, the patient stones,

Silently the bridegroom.

 

Feel this sand beneath your feet,

The innumerable grandchildren,

Of Moon’s barren desire.
