Sally
She claims my libretti resemble confetti
“They are all over the place, Craig,
Blowing in the wind, besides,
At weddings one should only throw organic rice.”
“I ain’t never been to a wedding,” I assured her.
“Well, not to one of mine,
They’d probably throw half-bricks at me,
Aimed at my soul and mind.”
Neither of us knows
Who the other is,
But I’d like to get to know her
And maybe sneak a furtive kiss.
