Shoehorn Jim was an inquisitive man,
Was the adventurer with luck in his hand
Deep in the jungle he was, hacking vines,
Along with hindering plants of several kinds
So intense was his wacking he forgot to glance
Up, suddenly before him spanned a glorious expanse
Such a glittering viewing sight greeted his eyes,
Wonder filled his heart and he started to cry
For all was gleaming gold everywhere he looked
So excited was he, but he should have booked,
For local cannibals salivated for the choicest cuts
He ended up sauteed with local berries and nuts
Let this gruesome tale serve as a warning to all,
Greed will blind you as you’re counting your haul!
