Jet black night,
cool breeze,
waiting in the darkness.
A shadow flickers,
the moon is our nightlight,
carry me home,
through this pitch darkness.
Black crows,
ca-caw in the cornfields,
silently flying.
The streetlights cast a glow,
on the driveway,
taking me home.
When we're together,
the pitch-black darkness,
doesn't seem to matter.
