Self Medication
To some, simply an indulgent treat, but me... I’m self medicating.
Melting chunks tantalize taste buds, flooding from vein to brain
as cocoa kicks in and produces ‘feel good’ chemicals.
Neurotransmitters fired up and pumping out,
flushing blues away with
a mind
hug.
