Drab flax colored scenery all around,
sand and rock bits dot the ground,
cacti with spikes of protection,
the animals need resurrection.
Bits of yellow and brown,
walking for miles without seeing a town,
thirst overcomes you,
making you feel black and blue.
Wishing for a bucket of ice,
ANYTHING cold would be nice,
waiting for the horses to gallop away,
and give out a cry or neigh.
Dizzy from the everlasting and dull color,
you want to try and holler,
but your throat is weak,
you feel as though your life has reached it's final peak.
Ahh... The lovely desert... Isn't it great?!
