I am breaking,

kind of, aching.

Actually -

factually,

cracked for years.

Stacked with fears,

backed by spears.

I am slipping,

kind of, gripping.

Although

fallow,

falling through time.

Stalling in grime,

crawling to climb.

I am crumbling,

kind of, stumbling.

Despite

respite,

biting in blind.

Slighting entwined,

writing my mind.

Ann Sepino

Another banger poem! And an accurate description of what it's like to be helpless or to doubt yourself. This is really good.
