Cadence (better known as Cady) is just your average sixteen year old girl... Except for the fact that she has animal-like abilities. For years, her family has been human-animal hybrids. She has only one wish: to be normal. But apparently that's too much to ask. Everyone in town knows about her special rabbit abilities. And she can't even enter town without being called "Carrodence" which to Cadence doesn't even make sense! She's bunny, not carrot. But when she meets a girl group called Under Cover, who are more hybrids like her who want to make outbursts for change. Can Cadence lose the old nickname, and come home a hero? Or will she forever be "Carrodence" the outcast?
