Obtaining equality

It is true that America is a melting pot of humanity made up of people from all over the world, while it is good to remember your linage or heritage if you prefer, in other words it is where we came from and there are as many traditions as there are nationalities making up this genuinely great nation, we call America. Until we as Americans can stop referring to ourselves as white Americans, black Americans, Asin Americans, or native Americans and start referring to ourselves as Americans then there can truly be equality for all of us.
