Another tale of someone

Remembering of now and then, when I was old enough to begin; I'd play and try and test all of what life was offering, and I'd be right as rain. And knowing it, Mum would scold with a ringing tone to say, that continually naughty children will surely inherit a place of timing out.

Knowing mine in person when I was passing five, at first it brought a most indignant frown. For this only child was quite certain of her unique will and ways, mindful of what is possible, the lesson was a need to never change.

And after Mum had asked me for the hundreth time and more, if I had ever learned any of limits, all the ones she'd laid down before; it was once again that a shake of my heard was given as reply.

Seeing it she spoke and it was with a sigh, "I've gone an' spoilt ya' Molly...an' I'll need to see a nod to know that you've come 'round."

And all I'd give to her in turn was a silent pout.

So it was alone within my corner on yet another dreary day, that I would soon discover an extra ordinary space. It was a place where walls will meet and give greeting at a point of wondering beyond. To find within the knowing that boundries can be overcome, by taking the path straight and winding into thoughtful imagination.

Time would pass, as time want's, and I did learn of strong and patient Mum's. How they help us in this world so we can safely go, and growing old and somewhat wiser I would show her so.

Never sent again into my corner, it is within certain uncertain seconds that I'll go to it on my own. And sitting there in my faded flower chair, my caring Mum long gone, in moments of reflecting I'll focus on presence past.

Here and there within this place where two walls greet, again I'll find the key. The one that fits the door which leads to the great and wondering beyond, that realm without limits to be opened by boundless thought.
