(242) Space Perseverance
We dance in space binary star.
Corona spotlight us from far.
Our azimuth to Aurora
Borealis orbs translunar.
The Drake Equation proof data
Of an entity in deep space.
A seemingly infinite place
To be concern in human race,
Our penumbra parallax grace.
Divide the ways through shady gray.
Harness the immense energy
From stars and quasar synergy,
To cast down on Earth’s perigee,
Stealth images that NASA feed.
We owe you an apology.
For supporting science fiction,
Rather than expensive mission.
That our Earth was once a flat maze.
Half of the inventions for space
Can be use right here in our place!
